The biggest announcement would have to the Nokia 808 Pureview, which is packing a massive 41 megapixel camera, however the phone is running on the Symbian OS for some strange reason instead of the Windows OS that Nokia has been putting into all its latest phones. The phone contains a 4 inch touchscreen with 16GB of memory, which support for up to 48GB and the standard features of most smartphones, HDMI, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.

Nokia have also announced an entry level Lumia 610 Windows phone which features, an 800MHz CPU, 3.7 inch touchscreen and 5MP camera. Nokia also came to the party with a few new Asha based phone, which feature full QWERTY keypads.

Samsung Galaxy Beam

No Galaxy SIII at MWC from Samsung, though that is expected to be announced soon, the biggest announcement from Samsung would have to be the Galaxy Beam projector phone. A very slim phone the Beam can project video up to 50 inches wide, pretty impressive. Besides that it is pretty basic for a smartphone, 1GHz dual core processor, 5MP camera, current running Android 2.3 but will be upgraded to 4.0.

So there you have it, some exciting new devices are heading our way soon, along with the iPhone 5 which is looking to be released this year as well as the Galaxy SIII, its a good year for smartphone users.
